Other than the minor issues of it falling apart and going slightly lopsided - and the fact I forgot the cheese and pickles were there - it's an all round decent burger that I would happily eat again. But I can also honestly say that if I was passing a McDonald's and was in the mood for a chicken burger - I would pop in. I'll be honest, I don't go to McDonald's at all. Which is better? Their OG Big Mac or their new burger?įor me, it's the chicken - is it too cheesy if I say 'winner, winner, chicken dinner'?
The world-famous Big Mac sauce is what really makes the burger though, let's be honest. The cheese slice was placed at the bottom so having another one on the middle bun would have been better. I did forget that the burger actually has cheese and pickles in it though. The Chicken Big Mac was actually very tasty. Thankfully these were thick and went along nicely with the Big Mac sauce. One thing I hate about burgers is when they have no 'bite' to them and it feels thin. The patties themselves were great - not dry, not too small and pretty tasty. I was worried that the burger was going to be dry due to the extra bun but it wasn't at all. But in reality it can easily be managed by one person and the added bun and patty isn't anything too overwhelming. It was rather lopsided no matter how you tried to fix it and after taking a bite, it did begin to fall apart slightly - nothing dramatic thankfully.īefore arriving on my doorstep, I did think it would be a huge burger and that I would need help eating it. I don't think I've ever seen food being presented as nicely as it is in the adverts - unless you're in a fancy restaurant. Upon first opening the box, the chicken burger looked a lot smaller than they do in the adverts - although that's to be expected with most food, let's be honest.
